“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3)

Life is a gift from God. Although some days may be full of hardship and sadness; each breath, heartbeat, and thought exemplifies the beautiful gift of life. Grieving can be the most difficult time for people. Still, when a mother experience the sudden loss of their child many feelings arise that they have never experienced before; sadness, guilt, despair, anxiety, fear, hopelessness, longing, anger, and frustration. Mothers habitually multi-task through life when they have children. However, trying to balance the feelings of pain and loss while going forward in their everyday life becomes very tough. Often there is no one to talk to who had lived through such a devastating time in their life. Sadness and sorrow can be so heavy and paralyzing that they begin to believe that they will not ever overcome it.
