When Healing Hurts: Divine Alignment

Have you ever felt like your pain is endless, and no matter what you do, relief seems just out of reach? I have been there. My back and forearms have been hurting for months, making simple tasks torturous endeavors. I sought medical help, expecting a quick fix, but instead, I was told my posture was the culprit. My poor posture had led to weak back muscles and severe stiffness, causing my pain. This experience was more than just physical; it was a spiritual lesson.

As I went through the therapy, I realized how my physical struggle mirrored the spiritual trials we often face. Sometimes, God allows discomfort to highlight deeper issues we need to address. Just as my therapist advised corrective actions for my posture, God invites us to correct our spiritual posture. It might seem uncomfortable initially, but it leads to healing and growth.

Romans 5:3-5 says it beautifully: “Not only that but we rejoice in our sufferings knowing that suffering produces endurance and endurance produces character and character produces hope and hope does not put us to shame because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us” (ESV). Our sufferings are not in vain; they are tools God uses to build our endurance, shape our character, and adopt hope.

We must remember that God is the divine healer in our healing journey. He understands our frame and knows precisely what we can handle. He uses our pain to draw us closer to Him, turning our struggles into strengths and our pain into purpose. Each challenge we face is a divine appointment, an opportunity for God to reveal His power and love in our lives.

We often encounter moments of pain and suffering that leave us questioning the purpose behind our struggles. However, these challenging times can also be growth and transformation opportunities. This concept is at the heart of divine alignment, which I explore in depth in my upcoming course, “When Healing Hurts.”

Divine alignment is about recognizing and incorporating God’s sovereign plan in our lives, especially during trials. It involves understanding that our pain is not wasted but is used by God to mold and shape us into the individuals He intends us to be. Just as my physical pain from poor posture led to a deeper understanding of the need for correction and strength, our spiritual pain often highlights areas in our lives where we need to realign ourselves with God’s will.

Divine alignment is about trusting that God’s love and power are at work in every aspect of our lives, even in our pain. It is about finding purpose in our struggles and allowing God to turn our challenges into opportunities for growth. Through this course, you will understand how to align your life with God’s plan, leading to profound healing and renewed hope.

My upcoming course is designed to help you navigate these challenging seasons. This course will explore how to welcome divine alignment and allow God to use our trials for His greater purpose. We will examine biblical teachings, share personal stories, and provide practical steps to find healing and hope.

Join me on this transformative journey. Let us turn our pain into purpose and our struggles into strength, knowing that with God, nothing is wasted. Embrace the divine alignment He offers, and let His love and power guide you to a place of healing and hope.

Stay tuned for more details about the course and how you can enroll. Together, we will discover the beauty of God’s plan, even in our pain.

Blessings,

Doc Steph
